Our Story
From our earliest memories, we witnessed the profound impact our parents had on our local communities. Our father, the late Md. Shamsul Islam, affectionately known as Somru Master (schoolmaster), dedicated his life to teaching, while our mother, the late Rafiqun Nessa Begum, lovingly referred to as Lalbi, contributed through her unwavering support at home and her involvement in healthcare initiatives. Their example instilled in us the values of dreaming big, working tirelessly towards our goals, and the importance of giving back to the community.
Driven by this legacy, we are committed to leveraging our resources to forge a world where every individual has the chance to access education, ignite the full potential of young minds, and lead a healthy, productive life. It is with this vision in mind that we have chosen to allocate our wealth from Somru BioScience towards advancing education and healthcare, continuing our parents’ legacy of service and impact.
